Five Finger Discount is a hardcore project from the United States associated with Jack Barnard. Barnard grows up on the outskirts of London and spends much of his early life singing and performing for local crowds, with occasional live appearances. He initially performs classic songs before starting to write his own material in his middle teens, at which point his style changes markedly.

He later works on an underground album titled Live For the Moment, which gains attention in both England and the United States. The project is described as standing out for Barnard’s distinctive style, and it is presented as an early-stage act with strong potential.
