Fieh

Fieh is a Norwegian nu-soul group from Vestre Toten, fronted by singer Sofie Tollefsbøl. The group is active from 2011 and includes Jørgen Kasbo, Kai von der Lippe, Ola Øverby, Lyder Øvreås Røed, Andreas Rukan, Sofie Tollefsbøl and Solveig Wang.

Style and background

The group works in the space between soul, pop and jazz, and is associated with the Norwegian soul and jazz scenes. Fieh is known for live performances and for combining laid-back grooves with danceable arrangements and soft vocals.

Early releases

The project begins to gain wider attention with the debut single Glu, followed by 25. These recordings help establish Fieh as a rising jazz-pop act and draw interest from festival bookers and music journalists in Norway.
