Ferreck Dawn is the recording name of Freek Coppens, a Dutch DJ and producer working in house and electronic music. He is active as a DJ and producer for more than 13 years and releases music under his own name as a solo artist.

Career and releases

Ferreck Dawn releases material on labels including Spinnin’ Records, Toolroom, Material, Nervous and Hey Records. His solo releases chart on Spinnin’ Records, Toolroom and Nervous Records, and he appears on multiple Sensation compilations. He is signed exclusively to Spinnin’ Records.

His track “Love Too Deep” reaches the upper part of the Beatport Deep House chart for several months and receives radio play on stations including BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM. Earlier, his collaboration with Redondo, “Tattoo Girl,” is released on Material Records, becomes the label’s best-selling track in 2013, and spends several weeks in the Beatport Tech House Top 10.

Remixes and support

He produces remixes for Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn, Steve Aoki, DVBBS, Sander Kleinenberg, Funkerman and René Amesz. His productions are supported by DJs including Luciano, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Mark Knight, Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli, Paco Osuna, Maceo Plex, Laurent Garnier, The Magician, Steve Angello, Chuckie, Pete Tong and Tiësto.
