Felix Jaehn

Felix Jaehn is a German music producer and DJ from Hamburg. He works in dance, EDM, house and tropical house, and is also associated with deep house. He is linked with the project EFF and the label Collaection Edition.

Early life and training

Born in 1994 in Hamburg, Jaehn takes violin lessons from the age of five and starts DJing at 16. He later spends a year in London, where he attends a music school at 17, before returning to Hamburg.

Career

Jaehn rises to wider prominence in 2015 with a remix of OMI’s Cheerleader. The track becomes an international hit and reaches number one in several countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In the same period, he releases a remix of Rufus and Chaka Khan’s Ain’t Nobody, retitled Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) and featuring vocals by Jasmine Thompson. This version also becomes a pan-European hit and tops the German Singles Chart.
