Felix Baumgartner is a house and tech-house project associated with James Cator. It develops as an Austrian alter ego created through studio work with James Reynolds, with the pair shaping a main-room and tech-house sound in their sessions.
Background
James Cator has been DJing in clubs around the world for many years, while James Reynolds has spent the same period writing, producing and mixing house tracks. The project emerges from their shared studio work, where they find a distinctive sound in the material they create together.
Releases and labels
The first release is Now Your Gone, a co-write with Juan Kidd and Lisa Millet. It is signed to Defected and reaches the Beatport charts. After that, the project continues with a long list of tracks and remixes for labels including Big Love, Art and Craft, Vacation Records and Destined.
