FEAR OF MEN

Fear of Men are a Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom-based dream pop and indie pop group that forms in 2010. The line-up includes Helen Ganya Brown, Daniel Falvey, Michael Miles and Jessica Weiss. The band is associated with shoegaze, lo-fi and female vocal-led indie pop.

Recording and releases

The band’s debut album, Loom, appears on Kanine Records in April 2014 in the UK and US. Before that, Fear of Men release a sequence of singles and cassettes, including Early Fragments on 12-inch in February 2013, Mosaic / Your Side on 7-inch in October 2012, Green Sea / Born on 7-inch in June 2012, Alice Munro Demos on cassette in December 2011, Hanna Schygulla Demos on cassette in March 2011, and Ritual Confession / Spirit House on 7-inch in August 2011. These releases appear on Kanine Records, Too Pure Singles Club, Sexbeat Records, self-release, Sex is Disgusting Records, and Italian Beach Babes Records.
