Fazerdaze

Fazerdaze is the project of Amelia Murray from Wellington, New Zealand. The music is associated with bedroom pop, dream pop and indie pop, and it is also described in terms of dream-pop and shoegaze influences.

Early release

Murray releases a self-titled debut EP, recorded entirely in her bedroom studio in Auckland. The release appears in 2014 and marks the start of the project’s recorded output.

Sound and collaborators

The project’s sound uses electric guitars and effect pedals to create a warm, hazy style. Jonathan Pearce, a multi-instrumentalist, masters the debut release.

Live line-up

In live performance, Fazerdaze becomes a three-piece band, with Gareth Thomas on bass and Andrea Holmes on drums alongside Murray.
