Fate The Juggler
Fate The Juggler are an original band formed in Kent in 2010. The group brings together experienced musicians who play a wide range of instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonicas, bass, keyboards, flute, clarinet, cajon, djembe, rainstick, cocktail kit and wavedrum. Their performances feature frequent instrument changes between band members.
Style and repertoire
The band plays a mixture of folk, rock, pop, country and Celtic music, with elements of jazz also part of the sound. Their material is original rather than cover-based.
Recordings
Their first album, The Ghost of Beauty Lost, is released in 2012. In 2014 they release their second album, One Eye Open. They also issue the singles Her Auburn Hair, Time in Colour and Blasphemy. In 2015 they release the EP Set in Stone, and they plan a third album, The Hero Pattern, on the Talking Elephant label.
Press and live work
Fate The Juggler receive coverage in newspapers and magazines, including the Sunday Express and R2 magazine. They also perform at festivals and venues across the UK and take part in live sessions on various radio stations.
