Fat White Family are an English rock band from Peckham, United Kingdom. They form in 2011 and remain active. The group’s line-up includes Dan Lyons, Lias Saoudi, Nathan Saoudi and Alex White.

Background

The band is associated with garage rock revival, lo-fi, neo-psychedelia and post-punk. They are also known for dark subject matter in their lyrics and for a sound rooted in South London rock.

History

Before forming Fat White Family, the brothers Lias and Nathan Saoudi play in The Saudis. Saul Adamczewski comes from The Metros. Lias Saoudi and Saul Adamczewski also perform in The Moonlandingz.

Releases

Fat White Family’s debut album is Champagne Holocaust. It is followed by Songs For Our Mothers in 2016.
