fakemink is an English rapper from Ilford, United Kingdom. He is of Indian and Algerian descent. He starts making music in FL Studio at the age of ten and begins rapping in 2019.

He first records under the name 9090gate, releasing pluggnb-influenced tracks on SoundCloud. In April 2024, he adopts the name fakemink. His music is mainly associated with cloud rap, and he also works in jerk, boom bap and hip house. His tagged styles also include pop rap and hip-hop.

His first studio album, London's Saviour, is released in 2023. In 2024, he puts out more than fifty singles. His 2025 single Easter Pink draws wide attention and is described by Pitchfork as “Bloghouse meets cloud rap.”

In July 2025, Drake brings him out as a surprise guest at Wireless Festival in London. Following that appearance, Clairo, Frank Ocean and Timothée Chalamet also publicly acknowledge him. After a dispute with Nettspend, he releases a diss track titled Look At Me.
