Faetooth

Faetooth is a Los Angeles-based band active since 2019 and described as a “fairy doom” group. It brings together doom metal, metal, shoegaze, sludge metal and stoner metal influences, and is also associated with post-metal and doom-gaze. The group forms in Los Angeles, United States.

Line-up

The band includes Ashla Chavez Razzano, Jenna Garcia, Rah Kanan and Ari May. In the lineup described for the project, Ari May plays guitar and sings, Jenna Garcia plays bass and sings, and Rah Kanan plays drums.

Style

Faetooth’s music draws on doom metal, black metal, shoegaze and sludge. The group uses the “fairy doom” label to describe its blend of heavy and atmospheric elements, and its work is framed around personal vulnerability, self-exploration and themes connected to the natural world.
