Extrawelt

Extrawelt is a German minimal techno duo made up of Wayan Raabe and Arne Schaffhausen. The pair also perform as Midi Miliz, a tech-trance act from Hamburg.

Background and releases

Extrawelt begins in 2004 with the release of the double A-side Soopertrack and Zu Fuss on the UK label Border Community. After that, the duo releases music on Cocoon, Traum and Kompass. Their work places them within minimal techno and related electronic styles, with Hamburg as the key point of origin in their career.

Remixes and live work

In addition to their own releases, Extrawelt makes remixes for Alexander Kowalski, H-Man and Fuzzion. The duo has extensive live experience through Midi Miliz performances around the world, and they also develop a dedicated Extrawelt live show.

Their album Schöne Neue Extrawelt consists of 12 tracks and appears on Cocoon.
