Evacuate

Evacuate is a United States punk group formed in 2007 by Raul E Cuellar, drawing members and influence from earlier hardcore punk bands including The Virus, Cheap Sex and The Lab Rats. The band works within hardcore punk, punk and punk rock, and is also associated with street punk, streetpunk and thrash punk.

The group’s debut album is a 12-track release built around a direct, urgent style. Its songs focus on social and political themes, including economic failure, global warming and war, while also presenting a note of hope. Evacuate’s sound takes in influences from Minor Threat, GBH, Slapshot and the Sex Pistols, and is presented with a fast, immediate approach.
