Ethereal Sin is a black metal group from Osaka, Japan, active since 1997. The band is associated with black metal and symphonic black metal, and describes its music as “elegiac black metal” because of its strong melodic emphasis.

The group’s line-up includes Nergal J. Mephisto, Tanathos Saturnus, Morgan le Fay, Randa Sirenia and Yama Darkblaze. Its 2009 album ...The Abyss will also gaze into thee is one of its noted releases.
