Eskimo Twins

Eskimo Twins are a UK electronic music group active since 2009. The act centres on Nathan Liddle-Hulme and forms after the pair meet as students in Leeds, where they share an interest in the city’s club and live music scenes.

Style and early development

Their sound draws on techno, classic house, indie, acid and metal, combining club-focused production with influences from outside dance music. Early demos attract support from bloggers, clubbers and parts of the indie scene, and the group secures a residency at Wax:On, one of the UK’s prominent club nights.

Performances and radio

Eskimo Twins tour in the UK and Europe, and also appear on Radio 1 with a guest mix. Their work as DJs sits alongside their studio output, with activity split between live dates, club appearances and production.

Releases and remixes

The group issues original EPs and remixes, including a third EP that reflects a more focused studio approach. They also remix tracks for People Get Real, Jon Dasilva, Twin Sister, Everything Everything, Justin Robertson, Dengue Fever and Peaking Lights.

Studio work

Their process includes long periods spent in the studio surrounded by old synthesisers, with summer dates at English festivals and Ibiza residencies balanced by winter recording work. This studio focus supports both their original material and their remix work.
