Error is a rap artist from Shutka, Macedonia. The name is also used by several unrelated acts in different countries and styles, including industrial rock, experimental electronica, electro-industrial, metal, noisegrind, boy band comedy, raw black metal, and other electronic or hardcore projects.

The Shutka artist works in rap. Other artists using the same name include an American industrial project that combines rock, punk, and contemporary electronica with aggressive vocals; a Spanish experimental electronica group that explores abstract hip-hop and electronic hardware; and a Russian electro-industrial band and DJ act also known as ERROR.

An American Error release an EP in 2003 on Epitaph. The group includes Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails and 12 Rounds, Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion, Leopold Ross of Nojahoda, and Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan. The band also releases a cover of “Wild World” for a Birthday Party covers compilation called Release the Bats. It is described as dormant.

The Nepalese Error begins as a punk project formed by Edip and school friends in 2012 before changing to noisegrind in 2014. Its listed members include Matte, Maggie, Takle, and Chotta, with past members Akhiya, Maale, Chindi, Apradhi, and Lallu.
