Eric Paslay is an American country singer and songwriter from Abilene, United States. Born in 1983, he works in country music and is also associated with Native Tourist.

In 2011, he signs to EMI Records Nashville and releases his debut single, “Never Really Wanted”. He also writes songs recorded by other country acts, including Jake Owen’s number-one single “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and album tracks for Lady Antebellum and the Eli Young Band.
