Eric Church
Eric Church is a country singer-songwriter from Granite Falls, United States, born in 1977. He works in contemporary country, country, country pop and country rock, and is associated with the Eric Church Band. He releases music through BigEC Records LLC and, from 2005, through Capitol Nashville.
Career
Church releases nine studio albums in his career. His debut album, Sinners Like Me, appears in 2006 and produces three singles that chart on Billboard’s country listings: “How ’Bout You”, “Two Pink Lines” and “Guys Like Me”. His second album, Carolina, appears in 2009 and produces “Smoke a Little Smoke” plus his first top 10 country hits, “Love Your Love the Most” and “Hell on the Heart”.
Chief appears in 2011 and becomes his first number one album. It yields his first two number one singles, “Drink in My Hand” and “Springsteen”, and also produces “Homeboy”, “Creepin’” and “Like Jesus Does”. He also earns a third number one single with “The Only Way I Know”, recorded with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan for Aldean’s album Night Train.
The Outsiders appears in February 2014 and produces five singles between 2013 and 2015: the title track, “Give Me Back My Hometown”, “Cold One”, “Talladega” and “Like a Wrecking Ball”. “Talladega” and “Give Me Back My Hometown” each reach number one on the Country Airplay chart. In May 2015, he reaches a sixth number one hit with Keith Urban on “Raise ’Em Up”.
Mr. Misunderstood appears in November 2015 and produces two number one singles, “Record Year” and “Round Here Buzz”. In 2018 he releases the title track “Desperate Man” ahead of the album Desperate Man, and in 2021 he releases the double album set Heart & Soul.
