Equinox is the UK drum and bass producer Marlon Sterling. He works in breakbeat, dance, drum and bass, drumfunk, hard house and jungle, and also runs the label Scientific Wax.

His best known tracks include “Acid Rain” and “Alpha Proxima”. His work is associated with keeping an original drum and bass sound in circulation, and he also records under the name Expander.

The name Equinox is also used by several unrelated acts in other countries and genres, including industrial music, progressive metal, thrash metal, jazz, black metal, rock and house-oriented electronic music.
