Eptic

Eptic is Michaël Bella, a Belgian dubstep DJ and producer from Waasmunster, Belgium. He is known for bass music that spans dubstep, drumstep, house and trap, and he is also linked with the MASTERHAND project.

Career

He starts making music at a young age, with an interest in rock, metal and drum and bass shaping his early development. He begins DJing at 19 and later builds a profile in the dubstep scene through a run of releases and collaborations.

His first release is the self-titled Eptic EP on Chronos Records in 2011. That is followed by the singles Obey EP and Farmville EP on the label’s compilations. He then moves to Never Say Die Records, beginning with the Like a Boss EP in 2012. That release stays in the Beatport Dubstep Top 5 chart for several consecutive weeks and helps establish his reputation in the genre.

Releases and collaborations

After releases on Never Say Die, he issues several singles on Monstercat and works on multiple collaborations. Among the artists he collaborates with are DJ Snake, Marshmello, Dillon Francis, Jauz and Juicy J. He also releases Wall Of Death with MARAUDA before self-releasing his debut LP, The End of The World, as an independent release.
