Enola is the name used by French techno and house producer Matthieu Monnin. He releases through the French imprint Initial Cuts, which also works with artists such as Tekel and Siskid.
Style and influences
Enola makes techno with a bright, expansive feel. His work is shaped by 1990s techno, including the music of Laurent Garnier, as well as film music by Danny Elfman. The result is described as a form of celestial techno associated with compilation-style dance music from that period, including the Trance Europe Express series.
