Enkh Jargal is a throat singer and morin khuur player from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Also known as Epi, he is from northern Mongolia and later settles in Germany, where he arrives in 1993. Born in 1968, he is also associated with Duplessy & The 3 Violins of the World.

Music

His work centres on Mongolian overtone singing and shamanic throat singing, usually accompanied by the morin khuur, the traditional horse-headed fiddle. He also sometimes incorporates beatboxing. He is an alumnus of the Conservatory of Ulaanbaatar and is described as a master of musical techniques rooted in the culture of his country.
