Endymion

Endymion is a Dutch hardcore and raw hardstyle group from Wateringen, the Netherlands. The act forms in 1997 and consists of Bart Revier, Bas Lint and Jelle Neys. Its sound sits within gabber, hardcore techno and hardstyle.

Career

The group makes its first release on Supreme Intelligence Records in 1998, which leads to further material on that label and its successor Gangsta Audiovisuals. Endymion also records for D-Boy, The Third Movement, Babyboom and Neophyte Records.

In 2001 DJ Ruffneck launches Enzyme Records and asks Endymion and Nosferatu to serve as figureheads for the label. Endymion becomes closely associated with Enzyme Records, and releases such as All the Way Up, Payback, Drunk With a Gun, Rock the Part-E, It's All Music and Pussy Motherfuckerz become part of its catalogue.

Releases and later direction

The group's best-known album is Catalysed Reactions, released in 2003. In 2013 Endymion parts with Enzyme Records and joins Neophyte Records. After this, the act shifts its focus further towards hardstyle and later fronts the Nightbreed label under the Neophyte Records umbrella.
