Emma Hunter

Emma Hunter, previously known as Emma De Lacey, is a singer and songwriter from Oxfordshire. She performs and records with drummer Tom Bruce, with whom she has been playing since March 2019. Bruce also appears in several other bands in Oxfordshire and has a background in orchestral percussion.

Earlier bands and live work

Before performing under her current name, Hunter sings in AmberState and The Halcyons. In AmberState, she appears at the main stage of Truck Festival, where the band is selected for the Bob Harris Presents slot. AmberState also draws attention with its self-titled album. Hunter also leads The Halcyons, and both bands build a profile on the Oxfordshire festival and gig circuit.

Recent performances and associated acts

As a duo with Tom Bruce, Hunter plays a headline slot at the Oxford City Festival. The pair are regular performers at The Wheatsheaf and also appear at The Port Mahon and The Bullingdon Arms. Hunter is also featured on Musicalballads: Unplugged.
