The Brisbane band is active in the early 2000s and is fronted by Kate Miller-Heidke, who later becomes known as an Australian pop star.
elseWhere
elseWhere is active in the Melbourne and rural music scenes for several years and is described as playing a mix of jazzy elements, funk-driven grooves and rock and roll values. The group has extensive live experience and builds a steady following through performances at events and venues including Outta Limits, Pushover 2007, the Muso Networks Battle of the Bands grand final, The Scouts 100th Birthday Celebration, Raw Vibes, the Bruthen Blues Festival, and numerous pub and club shows. At Outta Limits, the band performs alongside Area 7 and Behind Crimson Eyes and records the follow-up single to its debut EP. At Pushover 2007, it reaches the Battle of the Bands grand final after winning several rounds in the Gippsland competition and shares the bill with Silverchair, Karnivool and Something For Kate. In 2009, the band performs a run of live shows featuring both older and newer material, along with songs from Mark's third studio release, GRID METHOD. It then focuses more selectively on gigs while working on a second EP planned for release around the middle of the year.
