Ellie Lawson is a London-based singer-songwriter working in folk and folk-pop. She releases music through her own label, Create Your Own Reality, and is also associated with pop and singer-songwriter work.

Career

Lawson is previously signed to Atlantic Records in the United States. She releases an album exclusively through Barnes & Noble bookshops after appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Ellen DeGeneres supports her music. She also works on several side projects, including a dance album.

Collaborations and chart success

She achieves a number one Beatport track with producers 4 Strings and also reaches number one in the Music Week Cool Cuts chart with producer Richard Durand.

Other work

Lawson is an ambassador for the clothing brand Quiksilver. After touring Quiksilver shops in the UK and Ireland, she works on a tour of European shops. She also releases the acoustic EP Lost Without You, and a song from it appears on the Music Week playlist. In 2013 she releases the eight-song EP Resonate.
