Ella Janes is a London-based singer and songwriter who grew up in Winchester and studies French at the University of Exeter, where she completes a BA degree. She writes and performs her own material in both English and French and often appears with a band.

She self-releases two EPs and also releases the song Mechanical Mind, which is produced by Harry Sever, a friend and instrumentalist.

Live activity and recognition

Ella Janes appears on Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Longlist in 2013. She also plays alongside Toploader and Simple Minds and is a resident artist at Ronnie Scott's in Soho.
