23 year old Ella Janes grew up in Winchester, recently completing a BA French degree at the University of Exeter. Ella writes and performs her own music (both in English and in French) and is often accompanied by a band.
Ella has self-released two EPs as well as her latest song 'Mechanical Mind', which was produced by friend and instrumentalist Harry Sever. She was selected for Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Longlist in 2013 and has previously played alongside Toploader and Simple Minds. Currently residing in London, Ella is a recent resident of Ronnie Scott's in Soho and is working on her next EP.
