Eliza Rose
Eliza Rose is an East London DJ, producer and singer from London, born in 1991. Born and raised in Hackney, she starts writing and singing her own songs at 15. She works Saturdays in a record shop, where she hears a wide range of music that helps shape her vocal style and her approach to songwriting.
Her music draws on house, club, contemporary R&B, dance, electronic and jungle, with additional influences from soul, blues and jazz. Her writing and image are also shaped by an interest in glamorous but damaged female characters from American stage and screen, alongside a British sense of wit.
Eliza Rose’s early releases include a version of T-Pain’s Up Down (Do This All Day), made with producer Mkulu, and The Moonshine EP.
