Eliphino

Eliphino is the recording name of Tom Wrankmore, a producer based in London. He begins making music at a young age and saves from an office call-centre job to buy an MPC and start beatmaking.

Style and early releases

His earliest productions draw heavily on hip-hop and attract comparisons with Madlib and other Los Angeles experimental producers. He releases the Out of Phase and Made Seasons EPs from this period.

Later work

He then broadens his sound towards house and garage, and has a track included on Giles Peterson’s Brownswood Electric compilation. He also releases the Undivided Whole EP on somethinksounds. The artist is associated with electronic music, including future garage, dubstep, post-dubstep and experimental styles.
