Electric Guest is an indie pop band from Los Angeles, United States. The group forms around Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton, and is active from 2011 to the present. It is associated with indie pop, indie and electronic music.

Line-up and formation

The band begins as a duo consisting of Taccone and Compton. In 2011, brothers Todd and Tory Dahlhoff join, turning the act into a four-member group. The current listed members are Taccone and Compton.

Releases and profile

Electric Guest works with Danger Mouse as a producer. The band appears on MTV's list of Artists to Watch in 2012. Its debut album, Mondo, is released in 2012. The group also releases music videos for the singles “This Head I Hold” and “American Daydream”.

Live activity

The band begins touring in Europe in 2011 and performs at South by Southwest in 2012. It also tours in the United States during that period.
