Einmusik

Einmusik is the solo project of Berlin-based DJ and producer Samuel Kindermann, who is born in 1978 and is from Bielefeld, Germany. The act is associated with electronic music, including techno, minimal techno, minimal, and tech house, and the broader genre tags also include afro house, dance, deep house, EDM, and electronica.

Formation and line-up

Einmusik begins as a trio formed by Samuel Kindermann with Bastian el Zohbi and Pelle Buys. Kindermann is the only current member, while el Zohbi and Buys are former members. Earlier information also links the project with Hamburg and describes it as a “Techno Boygroup” built around DJs and production work.

Style and aliases

The music sits between minimal pop and large-scale techno, with a tendency toward a theatrical or kitsch-leaning sound. Kindermann also uses the aliases Ophir Project, Samuel Kindermann, and Seriously Tight, and is listed as part of the groups Consequence and Sensation.
