Effort

Effort is a Cardiff-based pop-punk duo made up of Radio 1 DJ Jen Long and James Frost, who is also known for his work with The Automatic. The project releases music under the Voicebox Records label and appears on the album Sentence.

The duo releases its debut EP, No Effort, as a free download. It records the EP at Long Wave Studio with producer Romesh Dodangoda.

Effort is associated with pop-punk, with the broader tags also linking it to grunge, punk, hardcore, pop and lo-fi.
