Edit Select is the techno project of Anthony Scott MacKinnon, a UK producer from Glasgow who has been active since the early 1990s. He also works under other names, including Percy X and Mion.

He establishes the Edit Select project and its eponymous label in 2007, with a focus on atmospheric, stripped-down techno made for club use. The project sits within techno, electronic, minimal, minimal techno and ambient techno, and its releases appear on labels including Ostgut Ton, Figure, Prologue, CLR, Dreiklang, Lanthan Audio and Soma.

Edit Select's early output includes several 12-inch releases and remixes for Speedy J, Chris Liebing and VCMG. The debut full-length, Phlox, appears on Prologue in 2014. In the same year, an edit of Teste's 1992 track “The Wipe” is also released.

Further work includes collaborations with Dino Sabatini and Mike Parker, and the 2016 collaborative LP Visitors - Projections with Antonio Ruscito. In 2017, The Bridge EP appears on Soma, a label that also releases much of Scott's earlier material as Percy X, including three full-length albums and nearly two dozen singles. After the 2018 Horizon EP, Soma releases the full-length Cyclical Undulations, which is a more expansive part of the Edit Select catalogue.
