echo echo

echo echo is a name used by more than one rock act. One version develops from the Steve Carson Band and features Steve Carson on vocals, guitar and keyboard, Jameson Burt on vocals and guitar, Bruce Yolken on bass, and Darren Carr on drums. Another version forms in late 2006 as a four-piece from Brighton on England’s south coast, with members Chris Fraser on vocals and guitar, Oily Joyce on drums and vocals, Tom Cummins on bass, and Will Escott on lead guitar.

The Brighton group includes musicians from Kidderminster and Kent, and its members meet at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Its sound combines older-sounding guitar work with disco and rave influences, alongside large rock riffs. The Steve Carson-led line-up is presented as an evolution of the Steve Carson Band and is associated with a planned debut album.
