Eastern Front are a black metal group from Ipswich, United Kingdom, active since 2006. They are associated with Candlelight Records.

Style and subject matter

The band’s lyrics focus on the history of war and its battles. They state that their work is intended to remember and honour soldiers who died in war, and to encourage reflection and further study of military history. They also identify themselves as non-political and say they do not promote any government or organisation.
