DVSN

DVSN, pronounced “division”, is a Canadian R&B duo from Toronto. It consists of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85, and it is active from 2015 to the present. Its music is identified with alternative R&B and contemporary R&B, and it is associated with OVO Sound.

Early attention and releases

The project comes to wider attention when OVO producer Nineteen85 plays “The Line” and “With Me” on the eighth OVO Sound Radio tracklist. The two songs are first released on SoundCloud. DVSN then releases its debut album, SEPT 5TH, through OVO Sound and Warner Bros.

Live performance

DVSN makes its debut live appearance at The Fader Fort presented by Converse during SXSW Music Festival.
