Dust Bowl Jokies is a hard rock and sleaze rock group from Sweden, formed in Sölvesborg in 2011. The band releases music from a rock and hard rock framework and builds its output around an aggressive, guitar-led style.

Early releases

The group’s debut album, Cockaigne Vaudeville, appears in early 2012. It is produced by Nicko DiMarino and co-produced by Beau Hill, who has worked with acts including Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Europe and Gary Moore. The album’s lead track, “Boots On Rocks Off”, receives radio play on stations in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany.

Later recordings and live activity

Since 2012, Dust Bowl Jokies has played festivals and nightclubs extensively. The band also releases a two-track EP containing “The Wicked” and “Blood, Sweat & Perfume”, which draws positive reviews from across Europe. In February 2016, the group releases the single “Lulu” from its self-titled album Dust Bowl Jokies.
