Duncan Overmeer is a Scottish songwriter and solo artist based in the West Highlands of the United Kingdom. He works with acoustic guitar and bittersweet vocals, and his music combines folk, roots music and alt-country with a strong interest in storytelling associated with the west coast.

His five songs ep is released in 2011. He also records material for an album. The name Matchstick Maker is associated with him.
