Dub Mafia
Dub Mafia are a Bristol-based live drum and bass band formed at the end of autumn 2009. They play a heavy dub-influenced style that combines live musicianship with dance music elements, and they are described as a collective with a positive outlook and a strong live focus.
Line-up
The band consists of Eva on vocals, Snafu on turntables and scratching, Maf on guitar, Aron on synths, Flash on bass, Drew on drums and Jago on percussion.
Activity and recognition
Dub Mafia attract interest beyond the UK, with attention in Europe and elsewhere, and they are approached by major festival organisers, including Ultra Music Festival in Miami. The group also releases videos, with one of their tracks, Breakneck, reaching number one for most-rated and most-favourited tagged music video on the day after release, before placing fifth in the UK YouTube music top-rated and favourites chart for the week.

The band’s videos are filmed by Ben Dowden, who has also worked with Dub Fx, Reggie Watts and Dirty Goods.
