Dub From Atlantis

Dub From Atlantis begins in Bristol in the summer of 2000, first running at Cosies Wine Bar with residents Stevie and Guy, who perform as The Men From Atlantis. The night focuses on roots reggae, dancehall and dub, and as it grows, more DJs join in and the promoters move the event to The Croft. There, they expand the club setup with lighting and a larger sound system.

As the roster of guest DJs increases, the night presents a wide range of reggae-related music, including dub, dancehall and roots, as well as breaks and drum & bass. It spends much of 2005 and 2006 at Thekla, then moves to Blue Mountain for a short period in autumn 2006. It later takes place every other Thursday at Native.
