Dru Hill is an American R&B group from Baltimore, Maryland, active since 1992. Their music includes R&B, soul, hip hop soul and gospel, and they are most associated with 1990s R&B.

The group records seven Top 40 hits and is best known for the R&B number one singles “In My Bed”, “Never Make a Promise” and “How Deep Is Your Love”.

Dru Hill begins with lead singer Mark “Sisqó” Andrews, Tamir “Nokio” Ruffin, Larry “Jazz” Anthony and James “Woody Rock” Green. It signs to Island Records through Haqq Islam’s University Records imprint and releases the albums Dru Hill and Enter the Dru, both of which become successful.

The group separates for a period from late 1999 to 2002. During that time, Sisqó and Woody release solo albums. Woody’s Soul Music LP has moderate success in gospel music, while Sisqó’s debut solo album Unleash the Dragon and its singles “Thong Song” and “Incomplete” become major pop successes and make him widely known outside the group. Sisqó’s second album, Return of Dragon, sells less well.

In 2002, by then part of Def Soul, the group reunites and adds Rufus “Scola” Waller for its third album, Dru World Order. That album underperforms and the group is dropped from Def Soul. In 2009, Dru Hill signs to Kedar Entertainment Group and releases its fourth album, InDRUpendence Day, the following year, with Tao replacing Woody.

The current membership includes Scola, Tao, Woody Rock, Jazz, Nokio and Sisqó.
