Drohne is the psych-folk project of British singer-songwriter Phil Martin, whose full name is Philip G Martin. He is based in Kent.

Associated musicians

Drohne performs with a changing group of accompanists. These include Alexi Nonis, who plays cretian lira and jews harp; Geoff Huggins, who plays bass clarinet, sax and early woodwind; and Jon Loomes, who plays violin and concertina and provides additional vocals. Other musicians connected with the project include Brendan Power on harmonica, Tim Edey on guitar and accordion, and Lucy Randell on cajon and percussion.

Style

The project sits within folk and neofolk, with a dark britannica and hurdy-gurdy association reflected in its description and tagging.
