Dread is an American nu-metal group from Akron, Ohio, active since 2024.

The name also appears on recordings and artist pages for several unrelated acts, including a brutal death metal band from Italy, a stoner rock and doom metal project from Melbourne, a doom/sludge band from Boston, a death/thrash band from Bedok in Singapore, and a thrash band from Albuquerque.
