Draper is a British electronic music producer from Neuilly-sur-Seine, Kent, born in 1991. He works in dubstep, electronic music and glitch hop. He begins recording at 16, collaborating with underground artists, and becomes heavily involved in remixing two years later after being inspired by competition on Indaba Music.

He gains attention through frequent appearances on competition winners’ lists. These include runner-up place in a Laurie Anderson competition judged by Lou Reed, first prize in the Electronic Musician Magazine contest, first prize in the Conspiracy For Good original composition contest, and runner-up in a remix competition for The Qemists.

Draper’s first major break comes with a remix of a video commentary by YouTube personality Chris Smoove. That track, titled “Waiting On A Noob”, becomes his first release and reaches number 14 on Amazon’s hip-hop/rap chart shortly after release. In 2010 he releases his first EP, The Introduction, a collection built around synths, rhythms and layered melodies, and he also traffics in dubstep and electronica. He is later scouted to produce an EP with Detroit hip hop outfit Blac Flagg Labs, with a self-titled release scheduled for Prime Records USA.
