Drain

Drain are an American noise rock group from Austin, Texas, formed in 1992 by King Coffey, who is also the drummer for the Butthole Surfers and formerly headed Trance Syndicate. The line-up includes David McCreath on guitar and Owen McMahon on bass. Their music also moves into electronic and techno territory, with samplers and drum machines playing a larger role than in Coffey’s main band.

The band is associated with the 1990s Austin noise rock scene and is active from 1992 to the present.
