Dr Alex Paterson
Dr Alex Paterson, born Duncan Robert Alex Paterson in Battersea, United Kingdom in 1959, is a musician and co-founder of The Orb. He is the mainstay of the ambient house and dub group, which forms in 1988.
Paterson is also associated with a wide range of other projects, including Prayer Box, Apollo XI, Transit Kings, FFWD, Pigface, The Kumba Mela Experiment, Le Petite Orb, Madorb, Sedibus and Screen. He is linked with the WAU! Mr. Modo Recordings and WAU! Mr. Modo Records labels.
