Doris

Doris is an indie rock band from Argentina, active from 2000 to 2007. The group features Julián Zamtlejfer, Larva Peruzzotti, Julián Srabstein, Marcelo Blanco, Liza Casullo and Nacho Rodríguez.

Releases and style

The band releases three albums: Doris, Doyle, La Opereta del Gaucho Drogado and Achacandá. Their live performances include scenography, costumes and frequent instrument changes, with the members switching instruments on almost every track.

Reception and live work

Doris is described as one of the more interesting and original acts in the Argentine indie scene. The band also opens for Stephen Malkmus in 2004.
