Doll Set Tones

Doll Set Tones are a melodic rock band based in Maldon, Essex. They form around singer and songwriter Lee Probert, who reconnects with his old friend and bass player Ross Fifield, formerly of Probert’s earlier band, Blue Sunset. Local percussionist James Bacon, also known as Jimi Stix, joins next, and Keith Jackson, billed as K Fingers Jackson, completes the line-up with lead parts and guitar solos.

Albums and material

The band produce four albums of original material: Lucky 13, Freedom to Dream, Silence the Prophets and Melophobia. They also put together a rock and roll covers album, You Kids Are Gonna Love It, which includes an exclusive track written by David Probert.

Style and themes

Doll Set Tones describe their music as carrying a message of love and unity. Their songs aim to reflect goodwill, enlightenment and friendship, and they present that outlook in their live performances.
