Dnce

Dnce is an American dance-rock group from San Francisco, United States. The group forms in 2015 and is active through the present. Its members are Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, JinJoo Lee and Cole Whittle.

The group’s music spans dance-rock, dance-pop, pop rock and funk. Joe Jonas leads on vocals, with Jack Lawless on drums, JinJoo Lee on guitar, and Cole Whittle on bass and keyboard. Whittle later leaves the group shortly after its hiatus in 2018 to focus on solo projects, and the band later reunites as a trio in 2022.

Dnce signs with Republic Records and releases its debut single, “Cake by the Ocean,” in 2015. The song reaches the top 10 in several countries and peaks at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100. Its debut EP, Swaay, follows later in 2015, and the self-titled debut studio album appears in 2016. The group’s second EP, People to People, is released in 2018.

In 2022, the band features on Kygo’s single “Dancing Feet” and releases “Move” as a comeback single.
