Djo

Djo is the musical moniker of Joe Keery, an American actor and musician. He is also known for playing Steve Harrington in Stranger Things and for being a former member of the Chicago psychedelic rock band Post Animal.

Albums and releases

Djo releases solo music under that name and begins with the debut album Twenty Twenty. Its singles include “Roddy”, “Chateau (Feel Alright)” and “Mortal Projections”. His second studio album, DECIDE, follows in 2022 and is preceded by the singles “Change”, “Gloom”, “Figure You Out” and “Half Life”.

The Crux is presented as the follow-up to DECIDE. It is produced by Keery with Adam Thein and Wesley Toledo at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. The album is preceded by the singles “Basic Being Basic”, “Delete Ya” and “Potion”. A deluxe edition of The Crux later appears with 12 additional tracks, making it his first album to receive a deluxe version. Additional songs connected to this release include “Carry The Name”, “It’s Over” and “Awake”.

Live activity

Djo tours with Post Animal on the Back on You World Tour 2025. He also appears at Lollapalooza in Chicago, with a second performance there, and is associated with later South America Lollapalooza dates. Another live run, the “Another Bite Tour”, is also announced in connection with The Crux.
